NH Death Penalty law to remain; repeal effort defeated.
The NH Senate voted 24-0 to table HB 1170, which effectively kills the bill.  The Senate was split 12-12 on passing the bill before they eventually agreed to table it. Read More...

The Senate vote on the bill calling for the repeal of the death penalty in NH will be held: Thursday, April 17 2014. The time is unknown as the Senate will be in session all day and could take up the matter at any time.
