AGE 14 THROUGH 20 MAY ATTEND THE WEEKLONG ACADEMY

The New Hampshire Police Association and the New Hampshire Chiefs of Police along with the Exploring Division of the Daniel Webster Council, have held a training academy since 1973. Young men and women, age 14 through 20 may attend the weeklong academy.

"The Academy is generally held the last week of June from Saturday morning to Friday afternoon."

There are three academy classes held during the same week. The Academy starts with the Basic class, held for the first time cadet and is limited to 100 applicants. The cadet who returns for the second year, attends the Advanced Class. This is limited to thirty-six applicants. The cadet who returns a third year, is usually serious about a career in law enforcement and attends the Leadership Class. This is limited to twenty applicants.

The training for all three class levels, is conducted by the most prestigious people in their fields. The training is demanding, the classroom topics are fascinating, and the discipline is motivating. Forms for enrollment are now on-line.
